Snow & Bacon!

My parents are freaking out because there's a huge snow storm in our area. I hate snow because that means they think it's really funny to toss us in it! Watch the videos of each of us getting tossed in the snow to see what I mean. At least I got some bacon at the end of it!

They waited until this morning when there was over 2 feet of snow to toss me into it! I was so mad!

I'm helping Mom cook some bacon by keeping an eye on it!

Helping With The Christmas Tree!

Our parents got this year's Christmas tree on Friday, and Jojo and I were available to help our Mommy decorate!

My sister Jojo examines the tree to make sure it meets kitty specifications.

Me and Jojo examine the box that holds all the ornaments.

I sit on top to make sure it doesn't go anywhere.

When Mom opens it up, Jojo and I get inside and make sure she didn't forget any really good ornaments.

It's Christmas Tree Time!

It's been forever since I've updated on here, hasn't it? I've been busy adjusting to winter. Also, there's been troubling times. My parents like to babysit another cat for one of their friends, and I hate this cat! His name's Leo and he's a small black short-haired cat and he's mean! I just want to be left alone, and he likes to jump on me and sit close and taunt me! I was so glad when he finally went back home, and now I'm even happier because my parents went out and bought a Christmas tree! I helped pick out the ornaments, as you can see below.

Birdies!

I don't know how it works, but every morning when I look out the dining room window I see tons of birdies outside eating seeds and it makes me hungry! I like to sit on the table and watch them all day!

New Fridge!

I knew something exciting was going to happen today when my parents took out the old fridge and put all the food in bins for me to sniff, and I was right! Unfortunately, they knew that I would have tried to help, and daddy threw me into a room and closed the door on me!

When I finally was allowed out, there was a new bigger fridge where the old one used to be, and Mom was putting all the food away. So I jumped on top of the kitchen cabinets to get a better view!

Mom's all done putting the food away, and I made sure she did it right.

I'm getting ready to climb on top of the fridge and inspect it more thoroughly.

Well, it passes the sniff test. I think it's a great fridge!

Sometimes I Wish Mommy Hadn't Come Back From Vacation!

Because she always finds something to bring back to humiliate me with!

R.I.P. Velvet

Our Mom was gone on vacation for 3 weeks, so we had no one to help us post while she was gone! However, this morning we got a sad announcement. Our grandmother's cat Velvet had reached the end of her lifespan, and was humanely euthanized at nearly 20 years old (she had just a month to go before her twentieth birthday)due to severe kidney failure. She had a wonderfully full life, chasing after numerous birds, squirrels and bats and survived a move to the city and a tumble with a raccoon. In her later years, she spent many hours napping in the house to ease her arthritis.
